TRAINING FOR THERAPISTS BY THERAPISTS

Lena Bambrick and Hazel Marsden have designed and delivered Zest For Life training courses and CPD Workshops since 2009.

​

We have been involved in the design and delivery of training in a range of settings; Hazel is a fully qualified trainer and has trained in several colleges in England and is a member of the Institute of Further Learning. Lena is a member of the Institute of Training and Development and worked for many years as a trainer with Belfast Cognitive Therapy Centre.

We are professional trainers committed to the provision of high quality, interactive, experiential training for counsellors, students and health professionals interested in developing their skills and knowledge. We provide opportunities for ongoing personal and professional development in the form of workshops, training programmes and group work.

 

Our audiences include individuals, voluntary, public and private sector organisations. The training courses and workshops are designed from, a range of approaches and models and extensive experience in client work. They are facilitated creatively and include skills practice, participative group work, literature references and handouts. CPD certificates are presented to each participant.

IN HOUSE TRAINING

We offer in House Training packages to organisations, providing tailor made courses and workshops to meet the specific needs of those working with client's issues. We work closely with you to design any specialist training you may require in order to ensure the best outcomes for you and your staff.

Since starting Zest for Life training programmes in November 2009, we are delighted with the success of our workshops and the positive feedback from the participants. Our 2 day workshop on Effective Strategies for Working with Childhood Sexual Abuse has been running successfully for 5 years. Feed back on all our training including certificates has been positive attendees describing our training as affordable relevant and high quality.
