Lena Bambrick

 

Lena qualified as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist in 2004 to Post Graduate level at Belfast Cognitive Therapy Centre, where she worked as a therapist/supervisor and trainer, Subsequent workplaces include Lagan Valley Psychiatric Hospital, Carecall E.A.P, GP Practices and Private Practice, working mainly with clients presenting with Clinical Disorders. Lena has been accredited by British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy since 2007. She is a member of BACP, NCS, and UKCP.

Hazel Marsden

Hazel qualified in 2004 as an Integrative Therapist and has worked with many agencies covering a broad spectrum of client work including counselling in schools and couple work with Relate. She worked with Nexus from 2005 until 2010 and moved into private practice working with GP, psychiatry, and private referrals. Hazel has been accredited by British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy since 2009. She is a member of BACP, NCS, UKCP and ESTD-UK.

TOGETHER 

Lena is an EMDR practitioner (1 & 2).  Hazel has recently completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Traumatology and PTSD.  Both are trained in Lifespan Integration Therapy and in The Colin Ross Trauma Recovery model. They have attended numerous courses in Dublin, facilitated by Babette Rothschild, Yvonne Dolan and Dr Andrew Harkin. (Sensorimotor Psychotherapy) 

Lena and Hazel believe it is essential to practice continual professional development and endeavour to keep up to date, with relevant research in the field of trauma. 

 

In 2010, Lena and Hazel began working with Towards Healing www.towardshealing.ie dedicated to helping survivors of physical/emotional/sexual abuse in the Catholic Church. Services include individual therapy, trauma recovery groups and facilitation of Restorative Justice meetings between survivors and perpetrators or church representatives.

 

We have a highly qualified and experienced team of Therapists and Counsellors, who specialise in a range of therapeutic issues. All our staff strictly adhere to the BCBAP code of ethics and are committed to working professionally and confidentially with you. They are equipped to deal with a number of issues that may be troubling you and are available to answer any questions you may have.
